Description
This was also drawn yesterday, I just wanted to colour it so I left it out of my big sketchdump.I forgot the horn on the original sketch, so I had to imitate the look of a pencil sketch on SAI to fix it o-o;
Yesterday, I also found out these Changelings are most likely also based on Fairies. Before Shakespeare wrote fairies as nice creatures in his plays, fairies were considered evil and they were feared... to quote a sheet I have... "Stories were told about how fairies stole human children in the middle of the night and substituted for them their own deformed and grotesque offspring. Such substitutions were called "changelings"..."

Anyway, this is more my take on a changeling. I had no references so some things may be off, but I think it's fine.

*Shudders* now seeing that the holes actually looking like they're pierced in it reminds me of Urniney a girl from an Irving legend that my friend used to tell me about she she said that Urniney was also a changeling and this was before friendship is magic even came out.

BTW I think you will find the roleplaying system Changeling: the Lost very interesting. It is about fairies. The kind of fairies from before Shakespeare. They drag away humans and turn them into changelings in their own world of beautiful madness.

Man, that's pretty gnarly. Liking how you decided to show the flesh and bone oppose to just a straight out whole. Now that you think about it that would be pretty difficult to support yourself with legs that have wholes all the way through them.
