I.... like this, well .. I like sakura too ^_^
minor things:
- the body is tending a bit to the left, from the face to the breasts, its all very slightly crooked. For this I recommend you to use...a skeleton - a structure - Before you actually draw anything... make the structure of the body, and make sure its harmonic. It does take a little time to get used to that. To make it easier you can buy leads of another colour, blue is the standard.. you can erase it when you scan your work.
- Be sure you scan your work in an excellent quality I use 600 dpi, its usefull for everything. and the finishingimages look much crisper. Also.. try to make your line thiner and thicker. Make it a language. it is one of the most important things for expression to give value to the lines
- I see you went for the cellshading, i think it's well done. However maybe you should use only 2 lvls for each colour, give it simplicity + it makes it easier for you
- the colours you used area bit too flashy, you should probably tune them all a bit lower. You can look at any picture od sakura and you will notice the colours are softer. it makes the image more believable.
- the background is something that many people seem to think Necessary. For me, it must happen only if it means something. Probably in this case, the leaves would give it more dynamism if the background was plain white.... well that is very much a matter of oppinion, you must know when to finish, and when to go on painting

Thanks for taking the time to write your input. Usually i scan in at 350 dpi, but next pic i scan i'll take your advice. The funny thing is i did draw a skeletal ref before doing the pic, but for some reason i didn't notice she was slightly leaning until u mentioned it, but now i see it(oops). I've been getting lazy on my backgrounds lately, this pic being a good example, got to work on that as well. Im a fan of your work so it's good to get feedback from you, thanks again!
