This piece is a study of Guido Reni's masterpiece of the High Italian Baroque Period. It took me about 3 months off and on of work but I got it done! Why would someone want to recreate a painting? I do it because it is a spiritual experience. You can actually put yourself in the artist's shoes and know what the artist was thinking at that time.
