Tavi believed he had discovered the fountain of youth in a remote jungle in Central America. The waters bubbled up from the ground, then cascaded down into a small pool just below.

The locals warned him not to get too close to the source, but he had to see for himself. He had to stand at the base of the falls and feel the water on his skin.

He barely noticed it when his movements became stiffer as he stood under the falling water. The locals sighed, as another handsome but foolhardy boy stood perfectly petrified in the pool.

In a matter of months, the same waters would wear down his new stone body until he was simply part of the pool. Then the waters would entice the next foolhardy person to bathe close to their source, and the cycle would continue.
