Description I finally got off my lazy bum and did a picture that I'm gonna use for my website. =__=; Yay?

This is Yuki again. "Snow at Dawn" is my website name.

^__^ I used Reeve's Watercolors, Prismas, and pens to make this one. The small snowflakes were done traditionally 8D. However, they were enhanced with PhotoShop6. The two pretty blue ones that are near her hand were .gif files taken off google. URL is here: [link]

Sketching: Close to an hour because I just couldn't get an idea.
Inking: ~30-40 mins.
Colouring: ~4 - 4.5 hours

I think I'm improving? xD; I liked how I coloured her hair...but I'm pretty displeased with her bangs. >_<

School's almost out! 8D I was planning to get the web mangas up and post some decent deviations but I'll be busier because I'll have to watch my sisters constantly and go to my summer job. But I promise I'll post something good. x3

Yes, you're definitely improving! I especially admire the little snowflakes since you did it traditionally! I'm sure people have noticed but I tend to cheat and whatever small specks I tend to show are digital improved. XD;; *guilty* I love the background and although the character is not at the "solid coloring" level, I think its wonderful because the more paintery look matches with the whole setting.

Yeah, it's watercolour. Except for that shawl-like/cloth thingy. That's with pencil crayons.

I believe it was the clothing the Han people of China wore during the most of the dynasties. And the other dynasties that didn't use it had clothing that was heavily influenced by it.
