I love the ogre and his staff, but the lighting is simply brilliant!

Epic, dramatic lighting! The edges of the ogre's flesh where the light hits him are stunning. I would, though, add a little more interest to the rest of the piece, maybe a little disturbance to the water or writing on the walls. It seems a little too plain. Still, you nailed the mood!
