He's just one of those parents.
Kro's hive is probably the only place they will ever be able to get some time alone without Ruti's lusus butting in, since his lusus doesn't really leave the hive unless it's to hunt.
That or Kro will have to sneak around Ruti's hive without giving away that he's there, or shower, even locking the door to a room so the lusus can't barge in.
And I did end up drawing a picture of Ruti's lusus giving Kro the stare.
