Trade with the lovely ! These two are Kid and his (spoiler alert) deceased sister Ire, two of the main characters from their recently completed comic! I highly recommend it, the first page is here! songdog-strayfang.deviantart.c…I know this was supposed to be a quick trade, but this idea popped into my head and I had to run with it! Even though this idea has probably been done a thousand times with these two I still had a lot of fun haha!
I did something a little different and kept the shading on the characters simple so I wouldn't be burned out by the time I got to the background. Which was strange, it still feels weird to keep my shading so simple! I'm still not sure it worked out in the end??? I mean my backgrounds still need a lot of practice, I'm still not 100% happy with it. >:/ I may go back in and adjust some things later!

Well since I'm here, I really like this! In my opinion the background isn't bad, and the simple shading makes the characters look like they're actually in the world! Not to mention it makes it look kind of calm, and pleasing to the eye.

Well snap, you blew my little doodle right out of the water with this. Now I feel like a chump by comparison, haha.
This is awesome! I think if it fits I'll use this as my desktop background. The colors are so soft, they remind me of like a picture book or old school water-colored bakgrounds from 90's anime. I doubt it was planned but today's actually my birthday, so this was an awesome surprise to find in my inbox! Hits me right in the feels with translucent Ire behind Kid. Can't get over how nice this is! Thank you
