Loved the model, loved the composition and the skills needed to prepare the shoot then take it to oneself. You are an excellent photographer and an artist also for only someone with an artistic soul can create this kind of image. To take a photo takes only two seconds and any smartphone can do it but to convey MEANING and BEAUTY to that same photo is another matter entirely. This photo has both, as do many of those on your gallery. It is sad that you haven't published anything lately. I hope it is because you are busy with other art projects and not with bad health issues. If you return one day to DA, be sure that you have an admirer of your photographic artistry waiting. Thank you for creating beauty and sharing it.

Yes. In photography it's common to blur and focus the portrait. It's meant to draw attention to something specific in the picture, usually in the foreground. For example, a picture of a parked taxi in New York City along the sidewalk with everything else but the taxi blurred would draw your attention to the taxi immediately then allow you to take in the rest of the picture

That's such a beautiful shot! Without revealing too much, it pulls off being playful, sexy, intimate. And I love how the light plays with the model's body and hand. That red bounce light is downright delicious! The hand almost seems to stretch out as an invitation....really, really well done, great picture!
