Well it's about time someone put two of my faves together. Cody was always one of the great romantics of TDI, his pure adoration of Gwen was never in doubt. And the Lady herself? Funny,clever,talented,gorgeous and sassy.A good friend and great competitor. Now i would have left Cody as tall as he was before, i think it's more honest of Gwen that she not judge the man on his appearance. And i would have thought he'd have a bloody big smile on his face, since all of his dreams are coming true. But the picture still works, both in it's composition(retaining the style of the show) and in it's substance. The romantic embrace by the lake, the waterfall in the background and the sun seems to have burst through the clouds at just the right time. Overall a very pleasing work.

Your grasp of the style is, not surprisingly, spot-on, though one of the first things I notice here is that you changed the body proportions a bit. I assume that was on purpose, and it makes them look more "normal" (since Gwen's hips are usually level with Cody's chest, for goodness' sakes). I'm debating with myself about the spotlight effect. Part of me wants to say it's overdoing things, but I didn't even notice it at first so I suppose it's subtle enough not to seem too tacky.

I was looking at a base of a "couple pose" while doing this, so yes I drew Cody and Gwen a bit differently for this picture to make more sense
