I admit I also think Chafe and Sadie would be a better choice for this position, but seeing Tres and Sparkz cuddled together is still adorable.
And I think the new highlight scheme works very well, too.

thanks MILLION for the shading tips. i still can't figure it out for me, but i'll get more aggressive with it as time goes on. it's about damned time i try some highlights for a change. XD

Maybe not, but at least Tres' expression is super-cute.
In addition to being more aggressive in figuring out the shading technique, there'll also be plenty of chances for me to personally demonstrate it to you again.

You may not like to read this, but, to be sincere, they do make a good couple... Although i'm not much of a fan of serious homosexual relationships...

heheheh Sparkz would never be reciprocal to Tres, mostly because Tres is way too aggressive in his attempts and Tres would probably get bored of Sparkz very soon after Sparkz relented and I think it was you that pointed out that Sparkz longs for the attention and probably is scared that if he were to actually give in, he's lose Tres.
there's so much more to these two than Tres always trying to catch Sparkz, but it's fun to draw for some reason. i really need to start showing more of the other side of their relationship (which is a lot more philosophical and kinda controversial)

Well yes, but this applies on their current state, as juveniles, but what about when they get old? When they get old, Tres won't be so actively after Sparkz, and Sparkz won't have such a complex thought. After so many years enduring one another, they eventually will get used to each other.

that's an interesting point... i'm not sure they're going to grow up, though
i mean there is a young adult version of them where Sparkz becomes an actor and Tres is running for government office while secretly plotting a revolution that gets Sparkz in trouble with the law and ruins his career, but... xD hmm
i never considered if they would even be into one another then. i hope this isn't just a phase that Tres is going through but on the other hand, i hope it is. ugh. that's the cool thing, though. even though i know some parts, i don't know everything.
