I agree It almost was grounded again after the show with a landing gear issue, but it was fixed and flew home about a month later.

I didn't know that there was a flying ME-262, even if it is a replica.

There's 40 or so flying ME-262s right now, but I'm worried about the Stukas, since there's only two left (Maybe three... If my Friends' friends' uncle would like to reveal his... )

I think there's a few that still fly (I've seen at least 1 other ME on here from Europe). This one sadly had a malfaunction in the landing gear and is stuck at Hamilton's Museum, and the museum its from went bankrupt

If someone wants refereces for painting an Me 262, here you have them. This replica was built as a JG7 plane. The red/blue and horizontal stripe denotes this.

That's really interesting I looked it up and almost everything is identical to different perspective drawings like this: [link]

I'm very glad they kept this replica so accurate

Blue skies are always nice to shoot against but a gallery full of blue offers no variety. personally I like to have a bit of grey here and there in the gallery. Living in England means I get a good few more grey days than I would prefer but that just makes the sun even better when it does show it's face. Anyway I wouldn't worry about the grey sky, it has not resulted in detail loss or an undramatic photograph. On the contrary, it is a photograph to be proud of.
