So you guys, want to know what that Top Secret Project was??
IT WAS THIS!
My first bird and it is one of my favorites: a barn owl.
This took a few days to do. The background is still a feature that is lacking, but i think its better than just putting one flat color.
I enjoyed working on this and hope to try more birds, specifically song birds (and maybe another bird of prey).
I need to outline the feathers more around the face for details. I'll keep working on this when i am able. I am working on other projects right now.

I love barn owls. They always make me think of that amazing book series, the Guardians of Ga'Hoole.
