This is a commission for of their OC Connor. Connor is a really killer OC and has the unfortunate fate of being infected with a parasite, as depicted here. The parasite is a nasty thing and I really wanted to channel Giger (RIP) for this one. I hope you dig it, dude! I had a blast working on this and learned a lot (And also learned Photoshop really hates styles sometimes). the way you pulled the colour in since i last saw this is phenomenal, you can feel the parasite feeding on him and all those incredible textures you pulled out of this are so well highlighted by the palette yet not at all overbearing. what an excellent homage to giger, as well, and i am not just speaking of the form choice, but of the manner in which the complexity draws together as a whole composition

Thank you so much Bria! And yes! It was requested that we fixate heavily on the parasite here and I found this beautiful balance between near 100% parasite take over and just a small amount of something reminiscent of human still showing.

Aw man thank you, Malfey. I'm really glad you dig it, especially since Six is up next. I can't wait to start painting him and and playing with these new brushes and things. I think it's going to go really well for some dermal features and the neck. And thanks so much for mentioning the pose and composition. That shoulder became the focal point and one of the more detailed and tended to bits and the dynamic and composition has been one of my favorite thus far.

Being familiar with Connor and good friends with Kroww here, I can say you have totally nailed it. Legit, this is one of if not the most amazing piece I've seen of the character and the parasite. You did one helluva job and I'm seriously impressed with the little details and the lighting, and texture - all of these add up to a seriously excellent piece!

Uh huh, oh yeah. That is....words fail me. No, they don't, they just don't seem able to convey all the feelings I have for this right now. Maybe later. But hot damn! Look at those textures! This is incredibly detailed, dude, and incredibly....ghastly. You've captured that raw, visceral nature of the parasite perfectly, and I love that helm-esque piece around his face! Just...wow. Wow. Beautiful.
