Princess Celestia was drawn freehand by me, but the evil Celestia design is heavily based on the comic design. (It is not traced.) As such, credit for the design of Evil Celestia goes to the producers of the comic: Katie Cook , Andy Price and Heather Breckel .

I started Evil Celestia not long after Evil Luna. This is the third iteration I've drawn of her. I wasn't happy with the previous two; something just looked off. I've added something special to this image of my own making. When I first saw Celestia on a Reflections comic cover, I didn't know what the gold thing next to her leg was. It was a cap at the end of her tail, but I didn't pick up on that at the time. Instead, I thought it was a dagger strapped to her boot. I've included this in this image - there is a scabbard strapped to each of her back legs. She's unsheathed one of her daggers and is preparing to throw it at a hapless victim below...
