Wow, love the translucency of that agate. Where'd you get such a unique looking specimen? Excellent idea to pair the pendant with a pearl strand. The whole piece just speaks of the sea. Even the crystalline formation of the agate comes across as looking like little marine animals, swimming about within that slice of stone. Their shapes echo those of the pearls, too.

I love love love that stone. I believe it would be perfect if with a silver/gold/platinum plain chain.

thank you for the exuberant comments! It is a hard thing to have to tell you, but this necklace has already been sold and gone off to a new home. Im sure you two would have been happy together but it must be fate. I will keep an eye out for any stone that remotely resembles the blue agate. I currently do not have anything at all that comes close in appearance- nothing blue at all in fact. feel free to browse the ebay shop at [link] the pics dont come out as nice as they do here but im just getting started with the selling so hopefully that will improve. Well, you could get me a dark bluish green stone... I am OBSESSED with that color, but I am so picky to the point I refuse anything that is not the exact greenish blue I like lol...

I don't usually dig dyed agate, but the coloration in this particular piece is nice and subtle, and you've showcased it VERY well--kudos!

went to a relative who is visiting actually. im setting up an ebay store to give that a trial run until i get a website i can be proud of. perfectionism can be exhausting hehe. the pics look like crap on ebay- im using the same ones from the gallery here. ill put up an anouncement on my journal when i get it up. i already used up my 5 page limit and i havent explained ways to purchase or returns or that stuff so ill hafta redo it.

5 page limit? I have an Ebay store, and I guess I just don't have as much stuff--I've never seen a limit. Ways to purchase and your return policy go within your auctions and store listings themselves, and once you do it the first time, you just save it and it copies into all the other ones. If you put policies in your store alone and NOT in your auctions, people will likely never see them--people rarely look at store policies anyway, from what I've seen.

ok thx for the tip. im still working on it. gonna go visit peoples pages see how they have them set up. finally got a store logo i like. i was goign to use my 'nobody home' pic as a home page with an explanation of stuff but i guess that would just be wasted space. do you have a link to your deviant gallery on your page? Do you get alot of sales? how long have you had it? is it ok if i ask you a zillion questions? hehe

I don't think I have a link to my Deviant art gallery in my Ebay store--think I have one on my "About me" page, but I could be mistaken. I have Intro-Extro's link on a few of his pieces that I have in my store. I have my Ebay Gallery link on my DeviantArt homepage though. Still don't have a logo I like for my store--need to come up with one. It's very bare-bones right now...
