Description
I was asked to build a necklace holder with a marine theme. I live in the mountains (isn’t it ironic?) so I went looking for the perfect wave in the woods (please don’t laugh). Then I spent several days painting that branch because I was never satisfied with the result, until I finally got it right: the colours (plural), the shine, the shades.
I started building the lighthouse then I went on with the fishermen’s village. I thought my marine diorama was complete so I screwed on the hooks and attached the white rope to suspend the necklace holder, then my insane brain conceived another idea: I stared at the white rope and didn’t see just a rope holding the whole piece onto the wall, but I also saw a suspension cable. Therefore I immediately began building a cable car using sections of a wall plug, a pen, a toothbrush cap, and a few pieces of wire.
It was fun.
