Finally, a drawing. This time for my mythology setting.Basilisk have a third, clear eyelid used mostly for hunting and caring for their hatchlings, because turning your food and children to stone is a no-no. It's only useful against threats and other vicious predators such as dragons, griffins, and gods know what else.
Being a farmer and having livestock would really be a tough thing, having dragon hounds and musket bullets designed for piercing through tough-demonic creature hide is a must.
