I was looking at some Hetalia art and I remember a scene when Russia's heart simply falls out of his chest... then he calmly puts it back, explaining it does it all the time XD I've always thought it was awesome, and I thought it would be an interesting situation for Ka to be in...But it turned out a lot more serious than I meant it to be. I realized a lot more about Ka's personality, too. He's a very straight forward, logical thing. Emotions confuse him, so I could see him having a lot of questions for his own heart.
I've had people IRL ask me why Ka's design is so simple. If it weren't for his helmet, he'd be just a white dog. The reason is the same for why I left this background white. I find white to be a very lonely colour. It reminds me a lot of statues, I think. I find dark colours like black and maroon very rich and expressive. Ka's colours can tell a lot about him... he's mostly white, i.e, cold, lonesome, emotionless, but he has a crown of red, created by his own fury and lust for feelings.
I'm having a long, tired day, if you can't tell.

PS- does that pose look uncomfortable to anyone else? I can't imagine sitting like that for too long O_O

I think as far as the pose goes, he's leaning to far back for it to look right. Like he'd fall backwards in a second or two.
But that is an interesting idea! Hearts just falling out... bah. XD

Yeah. He's supposed to be very slouched, but, of course, I didn't draw hs head down enough ^^
