This is Yolande Martine Gabrielle de Polastron, the Duchess of Polignac. A very close friend and confidante of Marie Antoinette of France. More info hereSo as you can see here, I based the duchess' portrait from a painting of (my new favorite) artist Louise-Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun
I was supposed to do Marie Antoinette but I got a little overwhelmed by her gowns and headdresses so I gave her best friend a try (my Marie Antoinette fandom is at the loose again!!!) If my schedule loosens, I'll do Marie Antoinette!
Done traditionally with 0.7 Mechanical pencil
