A customer asked me to make matching pendants for him and his girlfriend. It took me so long to make, not because it's hard, but because I so barely have any free time left.

He wanted a text on them too, that can be read fully only when they are put together. He liked the Wallflower Pendant [link] so I made a bricks pattern. He wanted them to be wearable in the water too so I couldn't paint them, everything had to be made out of clay, which I did. One girly, one manly. (I wouldn't say that a blue peace sign is manly, really, but it's not girly, right? And the fact that it's on a wall makes it cool... and manly-ish. ) I put the text on the "back" of the pendants, as I thought that it would look cooler if it wouldn't be so in your face. He also wanted them not to look as other pendants so I didn't make them flat. And I added the Onyx and Carnelian beads because they are born in the sign of Cancer and these stones will bring them luck. The needle I used to make the bail is sterling silver. He chose the colors for the cords to match the stones, which was a very good idea.
