A necklace made especially for someone born under the sign of Cancer.

The name of the pendant, Rac, means "Cancer" in the Romanian language and it also means "crab".

The Cancer is a feminine water sign, governed by the Moon.

The pendant represents a crab (to be more precise, a realistic replica of Callinectes sapidus) on the Moon, holding a blue Crab Agate bead in its claws.

Very little acrylic paint (shades of red and brown) was used to finish the smaller details on the crab. The moon was covered with a thin layer of white glitter. This makes the Moon sparkle without outshining the crab, which is covered by a layer of glossy varnish. Apart from that the Moon and the crab are entirely made out of polymer clay, which means their colors will never fade.

On the back of the pendant is engraved the Cancer's ideograph. This symbol signifies the union of the spiritual circle and the crescent (half moon) of the soul, suggesting the claws of a crab. The color blue represents water. Silver is the color that energizes those born under the Cancer sign. Around the ideograph there are seven lines and seven dots, 2 and 7 being two of Cancer's lucky numbers. The other one is 3. There are three elements on its front (the Moon, the crab and the bead). The back of the pendant is also varnished for protection of the paint.

A rather fine chain is connected to the pendant through two sterling silver bails, each part of the chain having one white coral bead on it. The chain ends with a beautiful toggle lock.
