Description
This is a just a piece I was experimenting with, as I have never done a sunset or water or a beach before. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I hope this is one step closer to finding a good style!Critique welcome in the comments!

First of all, it's nice to see that you experimented with different colours! There's also quite a bit of contrast between light and dark which is appropriate for a sunset. :]
If you want to improve your future works, maybe you can check out this background tutorial:
Basically, you can add objects into the foreground of paintings like these to give it more depth! Also, be careful with your horizon line because it looks as though the sea is tilting but the girl is still standing straight. :] Her arm hanging down is also a bit too short and the other hand holding her bag strap is actually backward (we should be able to see her thumb, if you check in the mirror how you do it). You can also use pose references like these to improve your anatomy for your future works:
