If you have tumblr and follow me there, you may have seen me post this a while ago. To tell the truth, I didn't even want to share it anywhere at all at first. But it's currently my most popular FFXV fanart on tumblr, so I thought it might deserve a spot in my gallery too. Although I'm not sure there are many Ardyn fans here.

About the drawing: Believe it or not, I got the idea for this pose from a photo of Obama I randomly saw somewhere. It started as one of my random evening doodles but it actually took me longer than it seems. It's refreshing to draw something rougher and black and white sometimes.

I still think it would have been cool to see more scenes of Ardyn being like this or perhaps another form or something. I also expected him to be wearing his fedora and black wing thingy all the time, but I guess we see him without them a lot more. Not that I'm complaining, he has fabulous hair and all.

He is the main antagonist of the newest FF game, a horrible sadistic vengeful asshole you are supposed to hate, but he's so fascinating I just can't help but love him. Thank you! I used to do and post more b&w sketches, but they always feel "less complete" to me somehow.
