Description
An idea for my friend BlackDragon-Studios dragon riding AU.A basic sort of dragon that lacks fire power, but makes up for it with it’s ability to disguise itself. It’s body is very flexible, allowing for it to pufff up like a frog, swallow prey whole like a snake, and adjust it’s form to look like something else.

It’s a pretty simple dragon. They’re a bit bigger than the biggest type of horse and excel at speed and disguising themselves. Their scales can change color and even patterns, and their tail tip and along their spine are soft, flexible spines that usually lay relitively flat, but can stand up and help them look like dragons that have similar sorts of spines. The skeleton is very light and flexible, allowing them to bend and shape themselves into objects or other dragons without actually changing their true form.

That’s pretty cool. I don’t think they could mimick every breed though. Ally’s pretty small, smaller than a horse, and Megara is a huge, fluffy, and glowing dragon.

Not every dragon, but they could mimic Megara’s glowing pattern or Ally’s colors. Really skilled ones can pretty much blend in with their environments, much like a Change Wing from the Dragon Riders Of Berk series. And the species is influence by a frog that can change it’s shape, structure and the texture of their skin to look like toads or other frogs.
Granted, the species is still in development. Like for the scales, I was thinking that they can sort of lift up a bit like the fur of a cat, to mimic the appearance of fur or feathers, or lay smooth like normal scales dragons or serpentine ones. They can mimic things, but not fully copy them, so for those who know about the traits and details of different dragons, they won’t be fooled by this one.
