Description
A combined portrait of the three main queens of Greek mythology. Even when you can say that all goddesses are queens in their respective realms (clouds, stars, love, crops...), these are the rulers by right of the three main parts of the (mythic) world: the Earth and Skies, the Seas, and the Underworld. Soon I will post the companion piece of the Three Kings, their husbands, though not all of them are worthy of that name (ahem... ahem... Zeus)Hope you like it!

im not sure about the other two, but hera seemed like she was a queen in her own right not because she married to a king and i always thought that was awesome.

Yay!! Its the big three consorts and queens of Greek Myth! You really portrayed them well and the color, detail, forms and expressions are truly exquisite!
I love how Amphitrite's hair is so long and yet a metallic color like its being shown and constantly reflected underwater. That's the color of gold one can only find in the sea and her outfit really looks like its made of silvery scales!
Hera's sharp nose really corresponds with her personality towards almost everyone especially Zeus's other consorts and I love the colors of royal turquoise in her robe and scarlet red in her hair to show great contrast.
And last but never least, Persephone and I really love how you portrayed her as a bit younger than the other two and its looks as if she looks up to Amphitrite to follow her way of rule instead of Hera's ( no wonder since Demeter did have a fling with Zeus at one point!
She really looks like a new fresh inspired and inspiring young queen of spring! Wonderful and amazing job on all three and I can't wait to see the kings and more Greek Mythology !

Your art is absolutely lovely. The expressions, the poses, the colors, they all tell many things about the goddesses and even your interpreetation of them.
I also really love how the colors and textures sseem to blend and mix together at the bottom. I really enjoy your take on greek mythology and how you draw each figure in a unique way. Can't wait to see how the Three Kings one will turn out.

Basically, there are 3 versions of the myth, and only one of them include Persephone. In this one Aphrodite finds Adonis as a baby and is taken by him, and sends him to the Underworld so Persephone will take care of him until he's grown up, but she ends up being taken by the cute little baby too. They argue over him and Zeus decides that Adonis will spend 4 months in the Underworld, 4 with Aphrodite and 4 by himself. It should be noted that such affections could also be interpreted as motherly instead of romantic/sexual, so even then one could say Persephone didn't cheat. There is another one where Adonis spends half of the year in the Underworld and half with Aphrodite, but that's because he's already dead. nothing to do with Persy.
The others ones are much sweeter, Eros scratches his dear mom with arrow by accident and she falls in love with Adonis. Then he dies while hunting a boar. Then he/his blood is turned into a flower.

Me gusta cómo has combinado los colores fríos y cálidos, y cómo usas el pelo de Hera para coronar toda la composición.

I love the way you can see their personalities coming through so clearly. Hera with her 'don't even think about messing with me' face, Persephone cheerful and perky, and Amphitrite as a calm and soothing influence on her otherwise volatile husband. I'm looking forward to seeing the companion piece; I always enjoy your take on the goddesses so I'm excited to see what you make of their other halves.
