Description OK so I recently found myself on a house boat traveling up the mighty Murray River which gave me some time to just sit down and draw. This is one of of the drawings from that trip and for once it's not an PC or NPC from any of my games (although it's still obviously IK XD). I just wanted to draw a good ol fashioned adventurer but with an IK feel. I figure the thing in his right hand is a clue to whereabouts of some well stocked dungeon.

I wishI had you talent. This looks incredible. But He's gotta be a merc. *L* Cygnar sword but standing on a Cygnar 'jacks head.... you tust aquit!

Yeah i've been painting a few Cygnar WM miniatures lately and some of that influenced this drawing. The Breastplate and shoulder pads for example are Sword Knight armour. I'd say he's definitely Cygnaran but not an active participant in the war (or wars XD).

The thing in his hand is a "Rod of Lordly Might", I am sure of it.

The creator of that item would have made Sigmund Freud weep

Very nice work!! I love the metallic shine you gave his armor and sword. The jack head is way cool, too. Heh, I agree with , it would be very amusing if the runes said something like "stop" or "Phil". Yep, the more gear bags, the better! And maybe a couple sturdy ponies or horses to carry the swag.

Nice! I like the blue tinge to everything, and the shine on his sword and kneeplates. The pose is pretty sweet, what with the 'jack head and the contemplative face he's making. ^^ Plus, something just struck me as cool with the pouch on the front of his belt. Not something you see often, and it just caught me. I like it.

What does the Cygnaran on his sword say? I'm still rusty with it.

Cheers . An adventurer can never have enough pockets and pouches. As for the runes on his sword , i do not know, i was away from mah books when i drew this (on the afore mentioned boat) and these were the only characters i could remember XD. I'll have to check up on a translation, could be interesting.

If I have learned anything from the comic book art of Rob Liefield, it's that more pouches = more better.

Hehe, now I'm really curious about that translation! It would be really funny if you ended up writing something like "soup" or something else entirely mundane. ^^
