are you a fan of 'Walking Dead' series or 'I am a Hero' Manga. This is a perfect manga for you in Shonen style.The manga has got tons of blood, death and zombies! The story revolves around a boy who is wrongly accused for killing , is send to the juvenile correctional facility.its very bad right? but it becomes his final standing for survival when the whole humanity is on brink of extinction due to man-eating virus zombies.

Plot 7/10 - at first, plot seems weird and seems pretty quick..but once the survival is on hands,it becomes very interesting and may make you crave for next chapter.Initial plot of the story is very similar to that of any Zombie stories and later it goes on to point of survival.

Characters 8.5/10 - The characters both Humans and Zombies are unique.There are 4 main protagonist which have different personalities and traits.there are side characters which makes a good impact to the story.there are certain unique type of zombies and which are explained in the story so i wont spoil it.

Art 9/10 - The Art is very good and makes you immerse into manga.It compliments the story so much, that you might end up looking for gore details in it.Since i have not read much gory manga, i cannot say if this is enough for you but does have tons of gore and blood like ripping your jaws , making a hole, taking out a heart and all.

Overall 8.4/10.

Summary - Introduction
Apocalypse no Toride is a zombie manga about a boy named Maeda Yoshiaki who gets falsely accused of murder. He is sent to a juvenile reformatory which oddly enough is a blessing in disguise. He then meets inmates Yoshioka Masafumi, Iwakura Gou, and Yamanoi Mitsuru who make up Cell 4. While oblivious to them, the outside world is turning into a zombie apocalypse, causing despair! And when a zombie gets inside the reformatory and starts to attack, will they fight the monsters and survive or become one of them?
