Description
Sculpture inspired by The Erlking from German folklore. Roughly 7 foot tall
as of either April or May 2013 this sculpture will be exhibited in Alnwick Gardens in the North-East of England!

I'm amazed so many people outside Germany know of the Erlking
How do you learn them? In German or is there a translation or only the meanings?

i first heard about them when i was studying music and i heard Schubert's Das Erlkonig, i really liked it and ended reading up on the story

Are you sure it is "Das" ErlkΓΆnig? Because this would be grammatically wrong in German :/
The article refers to the word "KΓΆnig" which means king and it should be "Der KΓΆnig" not das.
