Crash, boom, boom, SPLASH!!! Lightning was the only light in the air as the boat traveled through the ocean at night. The smell of Julie's Bakery had disappeared and now the only thing they could smell and taste was the dreadful taste of salt water. It was splashing in the crew's faces as they prepared for the worst. Pulling down sails, grabbing buckets and swooping up water off the deck, attempting to fish in a storm, and the rest were running around in circles having no apparent purpose and were slipping around on the deck.

A covered face came out from beneath the deck; it walked towards the crew and whispered, "Get under. I'll handle it from here."

The crew didn't seem hesitant (except for the ones who were running around in circles; they were having too much fun) and ran down the stairs (some tripped and made THUNK, THUNK, THUNK sounds!!!).

The covered face took off its hood and revealed soft, brown curls of the one and only Mariela Skylines. She took gentle steps towards the boat's wheel and took it by the handle and swung it to the right. The boat turned almost as fast as she swung it, and she could hear her crew hitting the boat's wall under the deck (it sounded like this: WHACK, SLAM, OWWWWWWWWW!!!).

Mariela rolled her eyes and began to carefully steer the boat in the right direction. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a crew member come out from under the deck.

PEW!!! Lightning struck the crew member. He ran around in circles and accidentally jumped off the boat. Splash!!! Mariela stopped steering and looked in the water, no sign of the crew member. Sighing, she took to the wheel again. First, she called all of her crew above. She needed their help, if they were going to get through Death Sea.

She ordered them to pull up the sails again; they gave her a funny look before following orders. "What is she trying to do? Kill us?" the crew members asked another. Their response was to shrug; fore they don't doubt Mariela's orders.

The sun was coming out, and the clouds were moving; revealing to Mariela that they were heading towards a gigantic waterfall. She tried with all her might to turn the ship around, but after so many fail attempts she knew, that this was going to be a death mission.

Turning to her crew, she shouted, "HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!!!"

Most of her crew followed orders, while some refused to hold on to anything. Let's just say those who refused fell off the boat when they went down the waterfall.

Water pounded down on them and made it slippery to hold on, but they refused to let go. The boat was nearing a nearby island now. Mariela let go of the boat with her hand and waved to her crew, "We made it! We're here!"
