Been working on this one quite a while now. I got the idea when I made this piece: [link] It's about the same idea but this time in a city. I started this project a few months ago but never really had the time to finish it.Until a few days ago. I decided to finish this one and so I did. I posted it yesterday on GFxBB to get some good CnC. I was told the clouds looked off and there where to many meteorites. I fixed all those things so this is actually V2 you're looking at (V1:[link] ).
Doing the clouds was a real pain in the ass. When I turned down the brightness of the original stock the clouds turned out really LQ, so I had to repaint them my self.
Making the meteors wasn't that hard. But making the collisions with the buildings was a real challenge but in the end I'm pretty happy with the result

Love the concept. The only thing i have a problem with is the smoke trails seem to stand out a tad so maybe try to make them blend more with your bg so the fire and earth stands out more (Love the sky)
That and the text kinda bothers me but great job otherwise

good work mate; I think the smudging of the comets in the front could use a little bit work, though.
And also the clouds at the top seem off to me where they are supposed to blend with the planet and the sky. I'd rather extract them with a softer brush.

It looks ok but metoerites never fall all from 1 side. These fal diagonal from top left to bottom right. Try to change te angle on some of them.
besides that it looks VERY neat.

Yeah I guess I know what you mean. On the left I've redone parts of the clouds my self, that can cause it to look kinda fake... Although I used the colours from the original clouds.

i love it , the meteor going through the beige skyscraper looks so good !!! though the gray skyscraper on the front looks a bit weird .

Yeah I know the meteor hit looks a bit weird, but it was so hard to make since I didn't really had an visual reference. And it was the first time I tried to make such a thing...

Tsja die aardbol vind ik juist heel tof... maar dat hoort ook een beetje bij de sci-fi scene.
Ik ben er alleen nog niet 100% tevreden over. De details op de planeet hadden beter gekund, maar zo'n planeet maken is zo klote veel werk... Dus ik laat het voorlopig maar even zo
