This was fun to paint, it's not spot on.The lighting and coloring gave me some trouble, I think I didn't like doing the shadow at all.

Good work! I really like your approach here. I'd think that you were not very enchanted by the ref, but paddled through anyway, at least a little. Great render for the time put in
