These are cold streets we live on, these days it's a dog eat dog world, where a man would tear another asunder for 100 green ones, damn this world. I say in my office that day my feet on the desk and a cigaret in my mouth, I took a swig from my flask as a hysterical man ran in yelling about some murder or what not,”woah woah,calm down and sit down,”he sat in the chair across from me and loosened his tie.”here take a swig,”I handed him my,flask and he took a long hard drink.”woah take it easy that's whisky there,alright now tell me what happened.” He explained that he just saw a murder, he had tried to help so his hands were all over the weapon and victim, hell the cops could be there now.”alright I'll help you but not for free, it'll cost fifty up front” he sighed and coughed it up. He said his name is Jack Stark, I told him to stay there and grabbed my coat and hat from the coat rack and headed to the crime scene. On my way out I checked my .44 mill revolver, 6 shots and 12 extra. I grinned and stepped out. I,hailed a cab and went to the address Mr.Stark gave me. The cab stopped and I handed the driver a fiver and walked into the alley….
