I did this last year, was just practicing with soft pastels, was aiming to try and get a textured affect with them to show the lions fur.Related content

You have some awesome stuff in here (wish I'd come earlier)- although this one is excellent drawn with the use of shading, contrast and proportional details, the photo itself is a little blurry.
