Ah, man, I come back to this at times... It's been sitting in my inbox for quite a while because I just don't know what to do with it. It is disturbing and captivating put into the same drawing. How did this idea take form? xDĀ
By the way, might I say your shading is impeccable and that your reflection in the pond is an enormous piece of well-done work ^^Ā

I'm truly excited about your reaction - especially that the motive is disturbing. concerning drawings, it is probably the biggest win for me, when people stop up to look again.
the idea: i wanted to use hands to tell a story, I believe that you can express so many things with hands alone, so you don't exactly need humans - but at the same time i wanted to cause an association to a human situation, therefore adding the legs and landscape. it ended up with causing a kind of confusion i guess..Ā
I must tell you, thank you very much for your attention and great comment!

I'm as excited about your reply as you were about my comment! I am always fond of hearing what moves with the artist that has created the piece in question. I can see where you're coming from in making something associable that all the same is also abstract. I also happen to agree that hands can speak for themselves. They are such a big part of our overall gesticulation.Ā
Ah, you're very welcome ^^ I like to take my time with art, rather than consuming it!Ā
