This one however took much much much more time to finish.. I still don't think it's done..
I'm though quite happy with the color job >.>x
This is really based on the dragon that was used in the collaboration with
And yes I am dedicating this to her. Only because it was her idea to do that collab after the discussion of what Rurouni Kenshin cast member was represented by certain animals and creatures.
As you can tell yes I used the same colors and scheme but only using my new style to drawing dragons lol. *plus had thought the original one should've shown up better after being scanned but didn't also thinks this version's coloring is way way better*

And yes if you look closely at the glowy sun you can see that I did use the Ishin's Hitokiri picture lol. So yes it is also in a way fanart.. *but mostly fantasy art.. had found a use for the drawing
*It took longer to finish than the "True form of Karyuu". 3/4 days (including the nights since she drew out the line art in graphite,inked it, then kept coloring over it in colors and adding on few extra clouds and the glowyness of the sun)
The dragon and the Kenshin art belongs to me, HikyuuTera, however Kenshin and the rest of the rurouni Kenshin characters all belong to Nobuhiro Watsuki-sama.

Can I tell you how blown away I am by the detail in this? The colouring job on the hair and the scales alone is something to be really proud of and you just can't go wrong with dragon artwork.

If you hadn't told us to zoom in we wouldn't have notice Kenshin inside the sun. That is so cool!
Kenshin looks so wonderful as a dragon. Love the vivid and rich colors. I feel like saying "such a pretty dragon." 
I wouldn't minded if this was made into a poster size and hang it on my wall. That's how wonderful this artwork is.

Hmmm I kept re-reading my sentences and I think my verb tenses are off. 
One more thing, I have commented on this before back in either October or November but this stupid computer of mine decided to freeze on me and lost the wonderful comments I've made.

lol Thankies, I know though I did repeat with the colors though. I had thought that I should attempt at coloring it better than the other one. Although I still think it's lacking something in it. 
Anyhow Thankies again and it's really no problem, you're one who suggested the collab which got me to color the original in this color scheme. ^_
Lacking? As for the colors, they are Kenshin's colors and that is part of what I like best about it. ^^

lol, I'm glad you noticed the coloring being Kenshin's. *had tried to get the mane as close as she could to the actual color of Kenshin's hair.* The body I was originally at a loss for so I just went over it alot with several shades of reds,oranges,even magenta and pinks to get that color. *didn't want it to be the other dragon's coloring but close to it. kinda like a two tone look on it's scales.* In a way, my idea as to what Kenshin would look like as a dragon

no, not really noticeable at all... you think you could darken it a bit somehow? I didn't see it at first... had to look really hard to make it out.
Definitely two toned works well. That is what I thought you were going for, Kenshin as a dragon... it fits perfectly. A magestic and powerful dragon with lots of pretty red hair. XD

I thought that is what you were after... I think if you made it just a hint more orange then it could still be ghost like... but people would notice there is something there and look at it more closely. Just my thought.
Yeah, exactly like a fish, and seeing how dragons there are more closely connected with fish water and good luck, it is a nice touch. ^^x

That's what I've thought for a while now, hence the whole obsession with drawing dragons now lol. I think it could be possible that he could be a reincarnation of Ryujin
lmao poor Kenshin. Then again Ryujin is mostly depicted as a red dragon so yeah it could be possible that Kenshin would be. That could possibly explain his unnatural red hair and violet-blue(sometimes golden amber) eyes. Because it's hard to even come across someone with that distinction back then. lol

I thought it was koi fish too... I mean come on, they have such beautiful scales. And seeing how koi hold such significance in Japan ... to my understanding ... it would only stand to reason.
That is too bad... but that happens with a lot of fics... seeing how it will never bring any fiscal rewards the spark can burn out after a while I guess. Maybe you or another fan of the story needs to write an ending.
See, I was thinking of the red hair and the violet blue (amber) eyes too. I mean, I have heard that it is POSSIBLE for Japanese to have variations in their hair color... but still... *looks at Kenshin* Yep, definitely the color of a red dragon.

And eyes that change colors... definitely amber in particular, if that doesn't scream dragon, I don't know what does.
