on a different note I feel like a lot of things included in your comic are a homage to something that happened previously or maybe even some foreshadowing
I also dig the "curflinch" sound. You really put a lot of thought into even the smallest details. "Flights of fancy" sounds like a cool title as well
However Nerva doesn't look like she is impressed or even interested by how it sounds

it's kind of a microcosm of the whole thing - to be in the midst of chaos and turmoil, and to see something a small, harmless token of a vanilla untroubled moment in life. to create these eyes of the storm is why i write.
