Ok so my title's a bit lame. Doing another tutorial on how to make realistic looking star fields. Thought I'd try my hand at making a dragon constelation.
The two planets are actually brushes by Qzma [link] painted over.
The rest is done using his tutorials on how to paint different galactic effects with layered filters and soft brushes.

Overall a great effect. "clap: I think that the dragon constellation could have used a couple more points of reference (i.e. stars). Maybe at the tail and a couple at the feet? Great piece of work though. Love it.

I did, and the nebula as well. The tiny background stars are made via a filter called 'noise' in photoshop. Thank you!

It just makes tiny pixelated spots which you can increase in size/brighten, etc.

Hey I'll have to try that sometime, I always remove the noise from my pictures to despeckle it
