Description Done for a contest "Dragon Wars" where you have to use the stock of (dragons) and (warrior)

The tallented Mr did the background.

A wounded and exhausted scout is deep in enemy territory. One of her two wyvern rescuers fight off an angry dragon on enemy patrol, while the second one advances to shelter the shaken and desperate warrior. He will take her gently in one claw and fly her back to safety and shelter. The wyverns only respond to the cry of a wormcaller. Otherwise they stay out of the affairs and wars of men.

This is my first attempt at photomanipulation. I have so much to learn! Uggg. I repainted/highlighted much of the picture except for the splendid background. I had some lovely stock to work with from the two accounts above and enjoyed the afternoon of playing around. I'm not sure I will do another but it was fun to play with.

Thank you, but please be aware this is a compilation of both painting and rendering. The dragons were rendered by another artist.

Well you didn't cuss me out when I questioned your statement to Shannon, so that's a good start. I'm generally nice to most people I meet. Tell you what, I'll put you on watch and try to give you some pointers on sketching, or direct you to good tutorials. There is an amazing amount of stuff you can learn on here!.

I'd never cuss someone out especially when I had no clue what they were mad at me for...XD...nah I'm kiddingI understood it.
The only people I've cursed out lately are my friends little sister and other friend( not my friend) They deserved it tho' I'm sooo mad at them...

the person has the light coming from the right and shadows going to the left, but the dragons have light coming from the left, and shadows on the right. Maybe you could change it, I dont know if you did the shadows on a seperate layer.. still, you did an excellent job.

I just decided my planet has two suns!!! Actually I saw the difference in light source after you mentioned it. It might be hard to tweek though as I melded the layers after I finished! Will be more consistant the next time. Thanks for the positive feedback - it helps me see things I've missed.

You did a great job on this! Your painted style works very well, because where most manipulators have a large problem with getting their backgrounds and characters to blend well, you seem as though you've done it effortlessly. Wonderful work! As far as our contest, the deadline is August 30th. Think you can get anything done by then?
