Description Well here he is all colored and with a background put in. Background was painted in a loose style so as not to draw away from the main character.

Final entry for contest of one of her OCs enjoy!

edit: I changed his hair color to blue - *blush* I didn't have the right hair color

The colours look amazing, with all that attention to shading and lighting, especially on his outfit and weapons. And that ship in the background is just wonderful, great job!

Thank you! The ship was fun, but I had to look at a ton of pictures just to figure out how to draw one - mostly for the sails and rigging - didn't know where to attach what

Which programs do you use to colour your work?

Just to point out-- although I hate to be a pain, his hair is supposed to be blue It's not a huge deal - just thought i'd let'cha know

*gulp* sorry! I downloaded your character line up to get a reference for his clothes, but it was line art... I'll change it, hair color is important! I use photoshop - only thing I have and I really like the results I get. Thanks for the compliment though.

I have some coloured references lying around my gallery, but I just assumed that people would find them.

P.S: I use photoshop too. Just liked your style of colouring - it looks like an interesting hybrid of vector and some other styles. really neat

NP. I should have looked more carefully. I like mixing my styles up, keeps people guessing and keeps me out of a rut. My vector art isn't really vector because it doesn't use a vector program, but is similar in style. thank you for the sweet compliments - you're going to make my head too big
