Tldr; Eden was the result after her mother, a call girl at the time, slept with a client who was a political figure. To keep Eden’s existence a secret they got a good chunk of ‘child support’ from her biological father but her mom decided to turn over a new leaf for Eden’s sake putting most the money into a fund for Eden to use for higher education. Eden grew up knowing she was the daughter of some politician but never knew about the money and feels guilty over using it both because of the source it came from and the fact that this money could have made her mom’s life easier. She ended up deciding to use it get a medical degree as a way get them out of the slums and provide a better life for the both of them. Despite going into the medical field photography is her real passion but knows how to separate job and hobby.

Eden is an introverted young woman who was born as a result of a former ‘escort’ and a high profile client. For political reasons Eden’s biological father, who held a governmental position, did not want the existence of Eden’s birth to become public so for years until the structure of the government started to crumble Eden and her mother would receive a hefty amount of ‘child support’ as compensation for their cooperation. (Eden was 17 when the funds stopped coming in.)

Against her former life choices Eden’s mother, Lucy, became a changed woman after giving birth to Eden deciding to become a responsible mother despite the situation they were in. Despite still living on the rough side of the city her mother took up a more stable job as a local store clerk and worked copious amounts of shifts to provide for their family of two. Lucy stored away the ‘child support’ for Eden’s future, without her knowledge of its existence, figuring Eden biological father would get tired of sending money one of these years.

Eden grew up with a close relationship to her mom and learned to be self-sufficient from an early age due to her mother being away from the house for work. Lucy also instilled in her the idea that hard work will be rewarded. She grew up keeping mostly to herself and despite the borderline poverty she had a quiet, loving childhood with education and support.

Due to their financial situation they could never could afford much but her mother bought her a small disposable camera once as a gift telling her that the best thing about a camera was that a picture would never lie. A picture was a trace of reality and of truth. Eden fell in love with the concept and later in life saved enough of her money to buy a high quality camera.

As her years in lower education came to an end her mom reveled the fund when she was 18 before she was able to enter the work force. At first she felt guilty about the money but decided to justify it with hard work and dedication to get a degree in medicine and go into a medical profession. With the higher income job she hopes to someday get her mom and herself out of the slums and into a proper neighborhood.
