High on the shore, embraced by the cold cliffs through which the merciless winds sing their all-knowing and judgemental songs, stands a forgotten altar of gods whose names have been lost to the tides of times, on the altar two dancers stand, forever in stone engraved, condemned to perform their ritual until heavens turned the stone to dust. Holding the sun above the horizon, for the dark sea to not forever swallow it every day a new they push it up back up again. Gods? Spirits? or Servants? they will never tell... we are in deceit"
My final assignment for my 3D modeling course, it was a new but fun challenge because I never worked with 3D environments before, except for once making rock for a character to stand on. I mainly took inspiration from Scandinavian bronze age art (like the rock carvings in Tanum (Sweden)) up till the Vendel period. I just mixed elements of the different styles I liked and added my own personal touch on top
