And this is the latest art challenge I did with fricky-blue-eye. For this one I changed the three marker challenge, you can find yll over YouTube. These are the rule for the challenge I made up: Randomely pick three coloura from the medium of your choise. To create an artwork with those colours you can take the closest maching colours from one additional medium.
I decided to go with watercolours and add special effekts. The orange background is actually copper effect paint, I also incorprated some gold paint, that my scanner dosn't show and the third effect is sepia ink for the line work. I especially love that last one, since it is so subtle. It helps giving the imprint of his hair been darker then the colour I actually used.
Besides: I rolled a die to pick the colours. I was totally surprised to get three that worked so well together.
