Rutile yawns and looks down at her belly. You were still peacefully resting inside. She rubs her gut and looks at her tail. Your sister wasn't coiled in it anymore. She shoots up and looks around for her, but she wasn't around. "Oh no!" Rutile yells. The sudden outburst woke you up "What's going on out there?" you ask rubbing your eyes. "Your sister got away!" she said. "What? How will we find her?" you ask. "I might be able to track her. Hold on," she said. She starts hissing until a snake slithers up to her. "Track the other human," she said to it. The snake flickers its tongue for a little and picks up her scent. It slithers somewhere and Rutile follows.

The snake led Rutile to your house. "Thank you," she said patting the snake on the head. It slithers away and Rutile goes inside. There were footsteps coming from upstairs. Quietly, she goes upstairs and looks around. Before Rutile could look around the room completely, something hard hits her in the back of the head. She falls onto the floor and looks to see what hit her. Your sister was standing above her with a baseball bat. She raises the bat and smacks it over Rutile's head again.

"Rutile what's going on?" you said. "You're still alive in there? Here, I'll cut you out," she said grabbing a knife. "No you might kill her!" you said quickly. "What! You actually care about these things?!" your sister said disgusted. "I knew this was a waste of time. Since you're so attached to these monsters I guess you can die with them as well," she said. "What! What are you going to do?" you said. She doesn't answer and you hear her walk away.

"Rutile wake up!" you yell. You start struggling as well but to no use. You start trying to crawl out of her stomach. It was very slippery but you slowly made progress. You go up her throat and start to see her mouth. You open her mouth and careful crawl out so her teeth don't poke you.

You hear the footsteps of your sister coming up stairs again. She had a pack of matches in her hand. "What are you doing?!" you yell at her. "Getting rid of that monster," she said grabbing a few matches. "You'll burn the house down!" you protest. "Who cares! I won't be safe here anymore. There's nothing this place has to offer me," she said.

She lights a match and throws it at you. You move out the way and it starts to burn the floor. Your sister lights another match and runs downstairs. The fire got bigger and was starting to spread. Quickly, you pick up Rutile and carefully make your way downstairs. There were a few more fires and your sister was gone already. You carefully walk around the fires and go outside.

You start walking further away from the house as it starts to burn. "What's going on?" Rutile said weakly. You set her down gently "My sister got away again. How are you feeling?" you ask. "My head hurts a little but I think I'll be fine," she said. She starts sniffing the air "Is that smoke coming from your house?" she asked. You look down and nod your head. Her eyes soften "I'm sorry Y/n," she said hugging you.

"Rutile what happened?!" Rose said slithering towards you two. Topaz, Sapphire, and Malachite were close behind her "We went to look for my sister but she got away," you said. Rutile looks at your arm and gasps in horror "Y/n...your arm!" she said. You look down at your arm and see a small bite on it "You were bitten..." Rose said with a look of horror.
