Description This is only ONE image in a series of 8 photos!

All the images are meant to be viewed to gether so be sure to check them all out.

This is the artist statement I came up with to accompany the images:

Graffiti art means a lot of things to a lot of different people. Some people see it as unsightly, and damaging, while others see it as a beautifully skilled works of art. As I have been involved in graffiti art for some time now, I have an appreciation for it and the risks artists take to put up a piece. What I love most about graffiti is the way it interacts with the environment it has been placed in and how people view it within that environment. This is what I am thinking about when I went out to shoot each of these pieces. The colors of the scenes have been manipulated to reflect the bright intense colors you often find in graffiti, however none of the actual graffiti has been altered for color or originality, they are as close of a representation of the actual pieces as I am able to capture.

Enjoy, and please feel free to leave comments and suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
