I just watched Raya and the Last Dragon and found myself disappointed with the design of Sisu. It feels like they'd scrubbed away any unique SE Asian design influences from her apart from the horns and general shape. I found her "dragon Elsa" look somewhat distracting for the setting. I had hoped this would be her form just in the beginning of the movie and she'd "level up" into something more special as the movie progressed but alas, while I kind of predicted the plot, a visual upgrade was not to be. So I did what I always do and designed that heavily naga-inspired final form for Sisu myself.Related content

An awful movie based on an incredible mithology. Sissu looked like if Sulley from Monsters Inc was an eastern dragon.

Who cares if Sisuβs looks like My little Pony styled nor the characters of Raya and the last Dragon are found pretty weird, it doesnβt stopped the story and animations are pretty amazing and in fact I really enjoyed watching the latest Disney movie when I just watched on Disney Plus.

It must be something that would make you afraid of what furies would make out of it.

It annoyed me so much that her body was covered in FUR, no depiction of naga has ever been depicted with fur! Maybe around the head, but certainly not the body.
