Nice looking restoration of Tyrannosaurus Rex. I always wondered if they had feathers or scales since they are coelurosaurs like birds to therizinosaurids and they had scaled skin impressions which is really confusing.

Yeah, you got a point. I can imagine they would have been like elephants or rhinos having small amounts of feathers. But I have drawn Tyrannosaurus and Tarbosaurus in my gallery back when it was popular to see them with feathers covering most of their bodies except the tails, feet, and snouts.

There are no studies that stated Scotty was 10 tonnes. Sue was 9.1 to POTENTIALLY 9.7 tonnes in Snively (2019). Scotty's weight remains at 8.87 tonnes from Persons (2019). If you're referring to that density paper from Larramendi (2020), they never officially estimates the weights of the theropods, only displays the densities.

There’s a musculature study being done on Victoria? I’d heard there’s publications in the works for the specimen but never knew the specifics.

I need a real publication if I'm to take this mass seriously. For now, I'm siding with Eric Snively.
