Sinking,Life is quicksand,
Already neck deep,
Falling,
Life is an abyss,
An end is inevitable, but not foreseeable,
Failing,
To keep up,
Always lagging behind,
Feeling,
Lonely and cold,
Yet surrounded by many friends.
Scarring,
My own skin,
Hiding my anxieties.
Acting,
Happy and free,
Underneath I'm just awkward and firm.
Wandering,
Down a tunnel,
No light at the end
Wondering,
Will things get better,
Will it be brighter.
Hoping,
Praying,
Crying,
That it does,
But smiling,
For those who love me,
Which there are not many.
For the times ahead,
Dark or Bright.
For the people who are strong,
To reinforce their strength.
For the people who are weak,
To make them strong.
For those who come,
and go,
For those who come,
and stay.
And for those who see,
behind my facade.
