Tails: Eggman? Thank goodness you’re safe!
Eggman: Oh, don’t bet on it for too long... That monster could be here any minute now!
Phaton: *teleports behind Tails and Knuckles* Tsk, tsk, tsk… What a very poor choice of words…
Metal: Shut up! Tell us what you want so I can finally kill you!
Phaton: Bold words for a robot whose own elite team of robots turned against him… I wonder who could do such a treacherous thing! *laughs*
Tails: What the heck is wrong with you?! Do you just enjoy our pain and suffering?! What do you want from us?! What can you POSSIBLY gain from slaughtering us like animals?!
Phaton: Can it, you talking lightbulb! I have an agenda and I’m sticking to it. This world will be so much more fun once its laws are stripped away, where I can rule as your supreme overlord, and you’ll all be free of the chains that stop you from killing each other!
Tails: You’re deluded!
Phaton: Oh, is that so? Trust me, shrimp, I’m a monster to the core, I’m the epitome of evil itself, but what I’m doing will vastly improve the way you view life. See, I’m on a higher scale of living than you are, where you abide by the rules it just makes things so… boring! What I’m trying to show you is basic Mobian nature! That you are all free to do what you want when the law lets their guard down. And trust me, when they’re down… you’ll be as crazy as I am…
Knuckles: So that’s it? You want to turn this world into a wasteland where the only thing that matters is YOUR philosophy?
Phaton: In a sense, yes. To put it in stupid-talk for you so you can comprehend it: Life is meaningless, and laws don’t matter when you can do what you want. There is no winning or losing. There are only options, and those who are as smart as me to recognise it!
Metal: For all that power you have, you certainly have a bigger ego than your goals.
Phaton: And your point is?
Metal: My point is that it’s your weakness, it’s mine as well, but when I’m against people like you who defy my alignment and go against basic mobian nature with such an amoral view on life, it ticks me off.
Phaton: You’re brave.
Metal: And you’re DEAD!
