i really like the raw energy you have put into this piece. the scratches and the tone are compelling. the perspective is well done also. this truly is the feel of war and dispair.

thanks! i love your piece "Wormwood tree". It's beautiful. The curves in the tree and the sky really just flow perfectly, adn the colors create a surreal feeling.....have you ever seen the movie Fern Gully, because it reminded me of it....

wow thanx for the kind words. i have seen fern gully, it is high praise to be compared to that movie, there was so much beauty and meaning wrapped up in the movie.
i hope to see more from you, your style is really good. i love the scratchy aged look of the piece. i find pieces about great strife to be compelling and somehow uplifting. maybe its knowing im not alone in seeing the harshness of war.

i just used charcoals....it was the first thing i'd done in them and now i really like them, you should try them if you haven't, oh, and thanks!!
